Vruksh Sawaad
Vruksh Sawaad
A Conversation with the Trees
In a world that is always speaking, Vruksh Sawaad is Sahyadri Devrai's invitation to listen. It is a gathering held inside the forest itself — under the canopy, beside the saplings, on the soil where the work is happening — where people come together not just to talk about trees, but to talk with them. Storytellers, scientists, farmers, poets, students, and seekers all become equal voices in this dialogue.
There is something a forest teaches that no classroom can. The sound of leaves, the patience of roots, the rhythm of seasons — all of it slows the human mind and opens it. Vruksh Sawaad is built on that simple belief. By bringing people into the Devrai itself for honest conversation, we plant something deeper than a sapling — we plant a relationship between human beings and the trees that quietly keep them alive.

01 — Conversations in the Forest
The dialogue happens in the Devrai itself, surrounded by the very trees being discussed. Talks, stories, and discussions take on a different meaning when the forest is not just the topic but the venue.
02 — Voices Across Generations
Farmers and elders share traditional knowledge, scientists share research, and young volunteers share fresh ideas. Vruksh Sawaad is a meeting place where ancient wisdom and modern thinking find common ground.
03 — Stories, Songs, and Silence
Beyond formal sessions, the Sawaad welcomes poetry, folk songs, and quiet walks. Sometimes the most powerful conversation with a tree is the one held without a single word.
04 — From Listening to Action
Every Vruksh Sawaad ends with intention. Participants leave with new ideas, new connections, and often new commitments — to plant, to volunteer, to protect, or simply to live with greater care for the natural world.
