Sahyadri Devrai and Sarpanch Parishad, Mumbai joined hands for Zhadancha Shatak (Tree Century). The concept is where grandparents would plant a tree with their grandchildren and grandchildren will have to take care of the planted tree for the rest of their life in the memory of their grandparents. More than 100 Gram Panchayats from various villages in Maharashtra participated and planted 100 trees in every village on the occasion of Independence Day, 15th August, 2021. Thus making a century of tree and trees planted for next centuries.
